As a senior member of the team, Richard has shown commitment and versatility, playing across two terms and in most of the backs’ positions. If he’s not to be found in the Churchill bar or a nightclub around Cambridge, he’s sure to be working hard in the gym, as he so often reveals. Known for his pace and airtight defence he poses a real threat to Oxford, especially with the promise of a Guinness after the game.
Varsity 2018 bio:
Fighting it out for the “not the shortest in the team award” with Sam-Henry Pressling, Rich has played every game this season, in most of the backs positions. His commitment is unmatched, playing through a game last term with a broken foot. He even goes to the gym after going to the gym. His pace and versatility make him a huge asset heading into this varsity match.
